Good to know you are ok. I hope Williams gives you good news.
I had a spin much the same off a Coxton Gibbet roundabout on the A428. Like you probable diesel as there is a Shell station there.
I Should know better as it's always slippery on a bike.

The only thing about having some Avon CR6ZZ's fitted. You will be going faster into the corner... hide

Sounds like in many respects you were lucky and cars get fixed easier than people! It does sound like diesel. I am sure Williams will pull all the stops out for you. I hope you and Henrietta are reunited soon

Cain, Pete (et al) : thanks for your good wishes. I do hope Williams can turn her round before the end of summer - I may find out tomorrow with a visit to Horton (going on the bus & train, not taking a wallet, not stroking the spaniels).

I take the advice ref Avons somestick with a nod of the head thinking , but this event will make me back off a little (and a lot near r/bouts & damp weather).

We live, we experience, we learn. And life's still good.

Sorry to hear about the accident Jeremy really glad you got out o.k. - bad luck by the sound of it.

Lets hope they can put her back together as soon as possible.

I put new tyres on my Roadster as the old ones were 8 years old and I had a skid on a wet road with diesel. I was tired I knew from before the road can be dodgy due to the nearby truck stop & wasn't going fast. Fortunatly only my pride was hurt.

I decided to opt for the highest wet perfromance I could find = B.

Avons are not good on standing water Jeremy, I can tell you that from two hours on Highland roads in pouring rain. I'll be switching to Vredesteins within a year.
Glad to hear you're OK though.

So it was you causing the traffic news?
Glad to hear you are OK. As mentioned above cars can be fixed.
I travel that roundabout periodically and have seen a number of National coaches spilling diesel as they go around to head along the A40 for Cheltenham. I even reported one, but I doubt anything was done...
