Back yesterday via Plymouth Roscoff ferry after a superb fortnight in France. The last day spend hammering up through all those tolls and across the Millau bridge. Approx 850 miles in 14 hours including stops. That bridge is even more impressive going north. Early morning light and the right hand curvature shows off the structure perfectly.
Greased the front end this morning and discovered my lost magnetic torch lurking there and no longer functional.

Thanks Bob,
P.S. There was a pipe band playing on harbour front for a yachting festival at Bandol - wonderful atmosphere and a very pleasant surprise.

Best Regards.

Passed a rather smart maroon Plus4 with black and silver plates this morning on the M5. He had just pulled out of Frankley Services going south. I gave him a cheerful wave but as I was on my GS he probably wondered what I was up to! Anyone on TM?

Went out with swmbo and the 2 dogs today.
Over to Gower for outside lunch at King Arthur pub. eat
Whilst there a dark blue Morgan passed - didn't recognise it or driver - only a quick glimpse at distance. drive
Also a baby blue TR2 came in - nice looking car.
Stopped at top of Cefn Bryn nearby for dog walk to Arthur's Stone .
Grounded the chassis cross member on a stone. swear
No damage luckily just a mark on chassis.
A Swedish woman ( yes...blonde) loved the car and asked for a photo.
On the way home swmbo suggested a trip to our fav Indian Restaurant tomorrow evening....she probably saw my withdrawal symptoms - needless to say the "yes" came before she finished the sentence. That reminds me, they gave us a wall clock at Xmas and it's still to be put up.
Ah well, another job looming, but retiring on June 25 so can wait 'till late July after the cruise. Missing a thrill on the Hill as a result mad envy gloomy

The hols were great Mr B! The midges hit us at Ullapool campsite and sort of followed us down to Loch Lomond but "Smidge" proved very effective laugh

yes, drove the plus 8 out of one garage and into another. Had to make room for a friends Honda Van that had the lower engine cover / front plastic piece come loose and was hitting curbs and such. The dealer quoted 500$ to replace. We tied it up with a zip tie. A solution I dare say was a bit cheaper. (Amazing value in a zip tie!)

Cheers,

Mark
