In an earlier post I mentioned the 'ching' when leaving the ramp at low water.
Having gone across recently I can report that low water on a spring tide you get a 'Clang'. (25lbs in the rears with a heavyish suitcase 2 seater trad.)
Difficult to arrange your travel because of this i appreciate, but be aware at low water as you will most likely flatten the end of your exhaust a bit.

Thank you for that. I will be using it once during the trip. But the heavyish case will still be the hotel.

Is there sufficient space to exit the ramp at an angle, rather than crossing the ramp/jetty at 180 degrees?

Yes Graham, I did sort of do that, had to decide a slow fast or in-between exit, went for slow. I had intended to ask the Mrs to walk off but after her being Mogged for 6 hours I did not dare. It felt as if you were dropping off a small kerb rather than a steel plate, had to stop and check exhaust. Felt it was a bit OTT to check tide tables though. Sure you will be ok.
