I have just realised that in the 20 days I have had my +4 I have driven 1100 miles in her loving every minute despite the majority being in the rain. Is this too much, are they only for dry Sundays or are they designed to be used that much ?

My 2009(November) plus4 now has 42,000 Kms - I am sure this is at the low end of use -- I just like it!!!

Not in your league, Robbie, but I've done roughly 8,000 miles a year for the past few years in my 2000reg 4/4. The original owner did about 1,000 miles p.a. and got through 2 or 3 batteries in 6yrs- which says a lot in favour of regularly excersising the machine. Gerry.

Have done 78,000 miles in my Elise from new in 2000 and I seriously hope to be at least as active in my Roadster when it arrives!!

Remember the article in Miscellany? Some of them were on 300,000 and rising. I only managed a measlly 250,000 in my first one.

A bit too self selecting this thread - mine is a fair weather toy about 3k a year - hope to increase in time. Off for a week long tour of Ireland on Monday so maybe 1k in a week.
