I wonder if anyone can help ?
A while ago I agreed to help a friend's 16yr old daughter and two of her friends arrive at their school prom in style, courtesy of a lift in my 4 seater. Unfortunately I've just found out while the car is being serviced that a weld in the fuel tank is leaking and a new tank needs to be sourced and fitted. The good news is it will be covered by warranty, the bad news is I wont be able to get the car back in time to honour my promise to the girls. The prom is in the early evening of 2nd July and involves a one-way trip from Chellaston to Pride Park (their parents will bring them home afterwards). Please PM me if you are in the Derby area and have a 4 seater and would be willing to help. My friend Jane has offered to pay time and petrol.

Have you considered hiring the factory 4 seater?

Thanks for the suggestion Dave, but as this would only literally take half an hour its not worth the expense, plus getting to Malvern and back midweek would be pretty much impossible for me.
If I have no luck then my other friend has offered to take them in his (modern) Alfa as a back up, but the Morgan would have been more of an experience for them. I did the same favour for his son last year and all the kids loved the Morgan as it was unique among all the stretch limo's (and I enjoyed the attention - given to the car) !

You could try a temporary repair with this. It worked for me. This is the same product described on the JB website.

If you're using a main dealer (or even the factory) I am sure they could loan a car for the occasion (good PR for them too).

Thanks Ken / Richard for the ideas, unfortunately my car is still at the dealer which is over 100 miles away. Due to other commitments I won't be able to get down there again until after the event
Graham, great idea but I don't know 3x 2 seater owners ! (I know - a reason to join Donmog...)

Indeed it is - a very active centre. I try to get to one or two of their gatherings each year...
