Roads nice and quiet at 5:15 am on way to work.
Just have to dodge the wildlife!
A bit busier on the way home in the afternoon though albeit a little warmer.

Great drive to Park and Ride at 6:30am hardly any traffic, and nice drive home and pretty hot, had to queue a bit on A3052 as a gang was removing cats eyes in preparation for road re-surfacing I think.

I took the Series 1 DHC, and my newly gained confidence in the car's brakes, out into traffic today. It is the first time I have had it on well traveled roads, and not on the rural roads in the neighborhood. We mostly worry how well it goes. I've been worrying about how well (or if it would at all) stop. I have make this car a driver after all . . .

Took the wife and the Plus 8 to the monthly breakfast gathering of our local British Car Club. A Jag, a few TRs, a MGB, a Morgan Roadster and a few more. A lighter than normal crowd. The weather has been intermittent at best. After a reasonable omelet I went to a Muscle car, Hot Rod show by my house. I had the smallest V8 in the lot. Then the rain came and we all scattered. Fun while it lasted though . . .

Day trip to Haynes Museum, weather held on the way there. Meet some old friends and so me new ones from LogMog. Roof on whilst going round just as well as the sky opened up, sun out when we left so roof off, side screens on. Caught in a down pour as we turned off A303 to Crewkerne, hair got wet, put to work wiping inside of screen with flunky, and that was all that got wet. Got some amusing looks from other road users, hair blown dry by the time we got to Seaton. Lovely day.

On the way back I was cut up by an idiot in a 7 series BMW, he seemed surprised that he couldn't out run me!
