Driving HRH !!
I had a rather unexpected (to me) passenger today : HRH Prince Charles visited Somerset & travelled back from Castle Cary to Paddington on my train (hence picture). He wouldn't stay for a selfie, I regret. Looking forward to the NY Honours list though...

Power without control is useless, but you weren't just a little bit tempted to floor it then... Regrettably, ATP (automatic train protection) wont let me do more than 128 on a 125 line and the promise of a spell in the Tower if HRH emerged with a soup stained tie meant that comfort, rather than speed was the order of the day. Mind you, we got to London on time, with an unusually large number of Green signals. In fact they were ALL green . . .  Jeremy

... Can't be too long now before Henrietta gets an airing ? Eagerly awaiting the phonecall BUT on Monday Henry said they were "just investigating a noise"  . Will call tomorrow to see if it's Mog or camper for Pickersleigh Rd on Sunday. (Cant make Shelsey now due to work roster  ) Jeremy
