Filled the old gal up today, thats the M3W not SWMBO, and averaged 41mpg that included 2 laps of the circuit and some running about.

Can't complain about that.

That is pretty impressive and gives me something to aim for. After thrill on the hill I am going to drive from swansea to aldeburgh on Monday using b roads. That is if she doesnt break! I'll try and drive sensibly to see what I can get.

I have averaged about 27mpg so far.

Getting on for what Morgan claimed for the two speeder - 45 mpg.
It's a fair claim, mine will do it on proper petrol, but not so sure it will with the adulterated muck foisted on us now.

I too have averaged around 30 ish...... 45 mpg is outstanding.

My Economy has got better! am averaging 40mpg now - mind u have slowed down a bit too!!

If I floor it ( a lot) then it drops dramatically - as it would!!

Gentle run to Classic Le Mans and back yielded 32mpg (imperial) overall. Anything over 40mpg is truly remarkable and worthy of congratulations! Assume you were running on both cylinders though ? wink
