I always admire the craftsmanship that goes into building top customs even though very little of it has anything much to do with the basic function of a motorcycle. But one thing always puzzles me, and this bike is a good example of it. When the builders are willing to change and adapt almost anything on the bike, why in heaven do they almost always go for an obsolete v twin engine, usually Harley but sometimes a clone of Harley.

Is it because custom bikes are a US fashion that is copied over here? Perhaps Freddy would comment.

Maybe its because the the big V sits nice and cosy in the frame, lets face it that is why the V was invented, to fit into tight spaces.
