Thanks Jeremy it's been so nice familiarising myself with the quite brutal talents in the Plus 8's toy cupboard, you never forget how rapid they are but it's the manner in which they achieve 6.4S 0-60 that blows me away, visceral is the word. I'm sure some of the Morgan successors achieve better results, as I mentioned earlier on another thread I tried the Roadster at Mike Duncans prior to buying my Sport but it just wasn't there for me.

Widths fore and aft of my Plus 8 are ;- Front outer edge of wing to similar on other side = 62". Rear similar measurement = 67" she is fitted with 7" Centrelocks and is a fairly wide car.

Cheers Giles she is all I could have hoped for and a little bit more, she is immaculate in the sense that from an engineering perspective all is "high and tight".

A polisher and concourse man would beg to differ as the "topsides" (just a respray away to me, but I won't yet awhile) has a few minor scratches and indents where things have contacted the body about 7 imperfections and thus barely a significant fact to me being from the engineering side I am a fussy bu--er too so they are imperfections only.

This one like all my others will be driven all year round other than salt and hosed down and dried after runs.
I have decided to invest in a meaningful dehumidifier for the garage + sealing the door surrounds and partition in the apex as it is a shared roof space, bit of sterling board probably, well several sheets of it actually.

This car will be my "keeper" until I can no longer gain ingress or egress, then it will be time for the family to enjoy it and I shall have to put on a very brave head that day.

Of course as Giles suggests we unfortunately have about 110 so called celebrity chefs in the West Country - 5 of which are within a 8mile radii of my humble abode so whilst I'm busy making my future plans the hand of God may yet again intervene and some other a--ehole incomer will bear down upon me relentlessly in his brat remover.....

Have a good day all I am off on the Moors now, this early retirement stuff is good thumbs

Almost but not quite gone, we are in the ageing (Heathers) Mum loop at the moment and it is a very unknown route as I'm sure you know Pete. Will pm when a window appears hopefully this week.

Sounds a fabulous run out route yesterday well done you - God doesn't it make you feel alive on the Moor with the lid off... thumbs wink

All I can say Graham is that they (chuffs) seem to be directly related to Land Rover wheelbase length and that were you to fancy a brief soiree into a new contact Sport I know the ideal route.........

See you soon 90 thumbs

I'm waiting for Williams to develop a folding screen system!

Thanks John, I am aware of the "full wet" position you can end up in with the Aero's but like the Sport models I think they are just crying out for these screens aesthetically.

Shame about the difficulty with the Roadster Screen - Wllliams will provide an answer for you soon I'm sure.

Only just caught up with this Giles and strangely enough everything has appeared Indigo Blue for this past week as I am being reminded by higher authority....

I like your suggestion for the handle but being an ex Logic man wondering about :- _____________
4/4 sportsfun as that would cover most situations wink

The bar should of course appear above the 4/4 etc to make it a not situation - works in edit but not to public domain.
