My 2008 Roadster has done 20000 miles and the front brake discs are worn and showing some corrosion mainly on the inside of the discs.
Wondered if you might have some info on what discs they are and where to buy them from? Also would an upgrade to drilled slotted discs and new pads be worth doing to improve breaking?

Morgan discs have always been Morgan specific traditionally although EBC list standard and turbo groove versions in their catalogue.
I have Mulfab grooved discs on my plus 8 with standard calipers and the brakes are excellent.

If the corrosion is not even it might be worth checking the calipers to make sure that they are both evenly operating.

Seems a lot of wear for 20k. I never have changed discs only pads despite doing over 58k in one car

What make of calliper is on your Roadster? If one side is rusting up this indicates that the piston(s) on that side are sticking. You can usually detect this is happening as when braking lightly you will feel a slight judder from the front and then when you brake harder it will go as you overcome the sticking. If this is the problem then the least you would need to do is strip the callipers and replace the seals. However some makes of calliper can suffer with time from casing distortion which the causes the pistons to snag, you cannot do anything about this, apart from get new callipers.

As for Pads:
Mintex or Ferodo Premier.

I personally avoid anything EBC.
If you are mechanically inclined whip a disc of and pop to a motor factor and go through the brake books to find a match, that will then tell you every car/van they have been fitted to.

An alternative would be to wait a couple of weeks until Williams have developed a new front brake kit for my 2009 Roadster and have my old discs! They've only done less than 4000 miles.

If the discs are not too deeply worn, perhaps you could get them refaced. With the right equipment this can be done on the car, without much dismantling. Gerry.

Pity you aren't near me there's a great place that does disc skimming if they aren't to far gone

Quite normal for my other car that has single floating caliper for the inside to rust but it shouldn't be an issue on 4 pot calipers unless there is an under lying issue with the calipers maybe the pads are binding in the carrier?

Binding pads on a 2008 calliper should not be an issue unless pads have been changed from original, whip them out and check.
