A '' add to favourites '' facility on this site would be really useful!

You are right Clipper, it appears to be a recurring topic. The only downside seems to be the edges but a clear polish as suggested could remedy that.

Thanks all for the links.

I looked into this at the time - but I expected the protection to be (nearly) invisible but the film lines were unnaceptably clear to see on the examples I have seen.

Like taking the missus out with her knickers showing - safer, but I would sooner she went commando without the VPL and risk it! swmbo

I had it done on my new 4/4 and elected to not have it replaced when I unfortunately had both wings off for some damage.

It's ok at the front sort of but does show marks, and the scuffs from feet on the running boards were very obvious. Better to spend the money on professional scratch removal every few years

Jeff - I can only repeat what I said on p.1 of this thread; that is, the Magic Erasers really work. My wife and I drove 180 miles today (she driving). Got home and discovered that I, getting in and out of the car several times, had put some scuffs on the running board Defendall. Clearly I am not used to right leg in first! The Magic Eraser eliminated the marks immediately.
