Ooh yessss! Took a leaf out of Jeremy's book and drove the Roadsterto the park and ride to go to work, along A3052 to Exeter at 6:30am. Very few cars about accept a newish yellow 911 who overtook a car to catch me up. Had some fun on a couple of straights, he could not keep up. I must give myself a slap for being a naughty boy. laugh

Finally . . . its been two weeks. I just took the Plus 8 out for a drive. Way too hot for a top down, so put the top up just to provide a shield from the Sun. My wife is planning to build a bimini top from Sumbrella material, but she hasn't the right sewing machine, yet.

Been up to my armpits in Morgan grease converting another Plus 8 from LPG/Propane to gasoline. Believe it or not the sewing machine the wife wants (fancy and computer driven) will cost more that all the auto parts I need for this propane conversion. Go figure . . .

The LPG tank is located where the normal Morgan trad gas tank would be, under the spare. Converting back to gas involves removing this tank and the rest of the propane fuel system and replacing it with a Morgan tank, fuel lines, pump and carb. The other big issue is that the wooden spare wheel support has to be recreated as it is removed when the LPG tank is installed.

Not all that interesting, just a bit fiddly. Really is a shame that Propane in the US is not popular, given the green movement.
