anticipated delivery is January 2nd . Full spec is: RHD, Auto Interior, black carpeting including covering the bare aluminium spots which some like to leave bare. Aztec yellow leather, including hard top headlining. Graphite dash and Raven wood. Black mohair soft-top, re-trimmed steering wheel and binnacle, aztec yellow. Exterior colour "Ian Morgan Black" (still working on Glasurite to come up with a water based matt lacquer like the one on my Carver manufactured by SPIESS HECKER, thenI can determine the final colour mix)with aztec yellow mesh air intakes and rear diffuser. Wheels to be confirmed but looking like 19" Team Dynamics MESH 111's in either matt black with aztec yellow rim or aztec yellow with matt black rim. Here is a photo of what the MESH 111 looks like in Blaze orange with a matt black rim. The paint you see here is a fairly true matt black. I feel I will stick with the more silk finish as per my Carver and my avatar although the flat mettalic look is still on the cards if Galasurite come through.

Sounds like some paint combo, can't wait to see the finished product.

It will be a fantastic sight - look forward to seeing it in the metal Shooter.
Lie the look of the wheels too. I like the idea of the colour coded wheels too. Of course the sensible option is to ahve black wheels with the yellow rim, but yellow wheels would look stunning even though they would be harder to keep clean.

I agree! Can't wait to see the finished car However, I do have one small concern over the matt black paint, when I saw the matt black Rolls Royce in Geneva, it has finger prints all over it, quite unsightly! Seems to me the paint don't lend itself too well being touch by hands/fingers Do you have such problem with your Carver?

How about Satin black?
Paintshield.....speak to Tom (The Guv) They did a superb job on my Aero and the quality of finish on the product is hardly noticeable.
But then difficult to do on a matt car as it would put a shine on it.

The Carver is satin/silk finish. No real issue with fingerprints.

I am looking forward to seeing your Aero when it is finished - it is a very bold choice! Have you considered whether a painted diffuser will be hard wearing enough? Won't road debris chip the painted finish rather quickly?

Simon, the underside perhaps, but you don't get to see too much of that. Maybe some aftermarket paint protection film would assist.
