Nice trip out today to Torcross to the Start Bay Inn for a meet up with Pete (recycled-teenager) weather perfect for a proper big boys ploughmans platter sitting outside by the seawall.
Back to St. Peters in Stoke Fleming for a Church tower tour (my ringing tower)in aid of the upcoming restoration project, I was tail gunner for this trip and fortunately Pete was happy to join the tour of the clock, belfry and view from the top.
A great and very entertaining meeting of TM'ers, thanks Pete.

Thank you Richard, the clock tower tour was fantastic, I just hope you raise the money for the repairs or lottery/ English heritage funding comes your way. The view from the top was amazing A good day out and I even beat the rain back - by about 10 minutes  Edit typos

A VERY wet drive down the M5 this morning to Prescott. 50mph max in torrential downpour and aquaplaning in the slow lane.....v scary  missed my old 4/4 with its narrow tyres.....far better suited to the conditions. And my under dash leak is back! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr
