I wish people wouldn't publish reports like that.
I'd finally convinced myself that a +8 was a stupid idea and a M3W and Aldermog the Roadster makes more sense.
Now I wonder...again!!

In my opinion the plus 8 is a fabulous car and it's only the cost that doesn't make sense. If they were a more realistic price I am sure Morgan would have a waiting list for them. I have thought about the Speedster but for me its just not practical enough and I hate getting wet.

.... and I hate getting wet. And you own a Morgan? +1  After this weekends Red Bull Air Race run out to Ascot my Aero Screens will be going and staying on my classic Plus 8 - some of my best long journeys have involved lifting floorboards to let the water out -you either get it or you don't. In Morganing there are no rights or wrongs as the custodians are all different so is their modus operandii IMHO....

During my Factory visit this week I was told that some 50% of the Speedsters ordered have windscreens and hoods as part of their spec, which must bring them up to nearly the same price as a Plus 8.  I suppose it must be the old trick of telling the Finance Committee the base price, as extra's don't really count in the price when you're using man maths!
