So whats the loss then.
If you want to visit the Porsche site and price up a Macan please do tell me if you get a car without 10k of options that is resale able.
If you don't want the screens buy a speedster
If you want them then just buy a +8 and enjoy it.
The choice is yours. At least you have a choice now.
I resemble that comment re the collective of loons, long may it remain.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

In my opinion the plus 8 is a fabulous car and it's only the cost that doesn't make sense. If they were a more realistic price I am sure Morgan would have a waiting list for them. I have thought about the Speedster but for me its just not practical enough and I hate getting wet. During my Factory visit this week I was told that some 50% of the Speedsters ordered have windscreens and hoods as part of their spec, which must bring them up to nearly the same price as a Plus 8.  I suppose it must be the old trick of telling the Finance Committee the base price, as extra's don't really count in the price when you're using man maths!  I've certainly seen a pale green one with windscreen and hood fitted......I'd rather wish that they wouldn't carry the Speedster badge on them. A real Speedster has NO hood and minimal screen!

I have thought about the Speedster but for me its just not practical enough and I hate getting wet. +1  Around £65k for a sensibly spec'd Plus 8 and they would have many more ordered I believe, the current price hits a point where Porsche, Aston Martin, Maserati and good 2nd hand Ferrari come into play. At that point you either have to love Morgans or it has to be a special car to the prospective purchaser.

Clearly the factory is benefiting from the clipboard visit they had some time back - they are distributing/collecting them two at a time now. 100% productivity improvement.
That's the factory demonstrator - same plate as the Thrill on the hill ?
