Great news Mario.....I bet you breathed a sigh of relief. Good luck with the Hill Climb, looking forward to seeing the videos and your report.
Peter....have a great trip. I'm envious.....I tried to find hotels in the area but all fully booked up. Obviously a very popular event. I'll get there next year and book well ahead!
Jays Former Morgan owner. Gone but hopefully not forgotten!
Thank you all! Peter, hope you have a safe journey, we will be waiting your arrival and we will go up the mountain together for scrutineering
My return to the office today was too busy to allow the writing I'd like to do, and the choice of pictures is proving difficult.
But I realized I have no videos of the trip featuring the car (I suppose nobody here is interested in tourist videos, there are better ones out there).
So, I'll leave here the only three videos where the car is featured.
The first depicts my wife having the privilege of first driving the M3W (we did the same with the Plus4, she drove it at the factory before I did). Here it is:
The second one depicts the moment of our arrival (it was night already, so you'll get more sound than sight out of it). As follows:
And the third is a bit ridiculous but whatever, I don't care . It depicts the moment when, yesterday, I stored the car before coming to Lisbon. Apparently during my absence my larger family (my own kids but also nieces and nephews, some friends too) picked up on a summer "folly" about people dumping buckets of cold water upon themselves and challenging others to do the same and recording it all. So I was challenged and I said "ok, but after I'm done with cleaning the M3W and storing it". And so it was, they set it all up and the (ridiculous, but well humoured) end result is what follows.
If all goes well tomorrow I'll be able to share my "travel notes" and a few pictures!
Great stuff Mario. Would you say the Mk2 exhausts sound different to the Mk1 version? The sound changes as they bed in anyway but I'm interested in the effect of having thicker metal.
