I know TMW is supposed to be quarterly and often isn't, but it is purely Morgan focussed. If you want a more 'airline style' lifestyle magazine then consider MogMag... +1

But does TMW print "teaser" photos?

Occasionally, but probably not the ones you're thinking of...

An interesting thread which has covered many subjects, here's a brief synopsis: Wirewheel - opens the thread with a query about the "Special Edition" photos in Mog Mag Some discussion and then Aldermog - wonders if it has an Auto box? Much discussion on auto boxes and then DaveW wonders - if it is a new golf trolley? DaveW (TM Occupation: Partial Retirement) - says that auto boxes are "a last resort for old blokes"! Asbojohn - thinks it's a student project as anything is possible with a 3D printer MarkB - asks about the merits of Mog Mag v TMW Aldermog - brings the thread back to autos and the ZF 8-speed box (Couldn't agree more Peter, our Bentley has that box too and it really is quite exceptional) Jays - talks about 'teaser photos' Graham - seems to be aiming for the top shelf... All in all a fairly typical TM thread, interesting and you never know where it is going to end up! Hopefully Morgan are going to have this car at the Salon Prive show next week on the 3rd September 2014 so all will be revealed then. Cheers Brian (Aeroman)

OK. Let's have some guesses on what it actually is.
My bet is that it is an entirely new model that is a cross between the Aero and the Roadster. Front subframe in steel on an aluminium tub, double wishbone front suspension, independent rear, V6 engine, auto option, air option, stereo option. Maybe even with ABS and airbags.
Why? They have realised that for many people the Mustang engine is too powerful for the trad chassis.

Brian, Not long to wait then. I am intrigued to know what will fill the gap between wings and front lifting bonnet. Also the firewall seems to be steeply inclined. If it gets as much attention as the New Speedster, it will do rather well.

To answer the posts in reverse order: Aldermog - to misquote the Duke of Wellington Peter it'll be "A damn close run thing!" Asbo - whatever gave you that idea John! Wirewheel - as you say not long to wait for the mystery to be solved Gambalunga - you've got some of it correct Peter, but far from all. Adrian was correct on the engine, but I'm afraid you'll have to wait a little bit for the rest of the details. Brian
