Yust returned from a vigorous longer drive to test the improvements I have had done by the Dutch Morgan dealer to the rear suspension of my S2 Roadster. I had the front done a few months ago (suplex and brake reaction bars). This time I had the sagging leafsprings replaced by the ones wt 4 leaves + the recommended Avo's. Also had 2nd anti-tramp bar installed. I allready had a panhard rod. Hence, I think I have done what I reasonably could do to improve things (i.e. besides improving my own driving skills...). The result of the mechanical upgrades is very good, as well as the impact on the well being of the drver . The front is a little bit more forgiving and the rear feels much more connected to the road. It is overall a much better car that feels much more assured. As I also have the ECU upgrade from Williams on board, I think that I may have the best driving S2 Roadster in The Netherlands (easy to say as there are not that many Roadsters around in NL...). Kind Regards, BertR

IMHO A blonde in the passenger seat is a most agreeable addition to the Morgan experience. Maybe the factory should list it as an option. Before I get censured for sexism I'd better explain that my good lady wife is blonde and is a wonderful passenger.

Can they retrofit and deliver to Plymouth?

Tuesday Morning drive in a Roadster.
Not Aldermog, but a new 3.7 sitting in the Williams showroom. Almost a clone of Aldermog.
Ferrari metallic blue, nearly as dark as Aldermog, but not quite. Cream leather with dark blue piping, heated seats, dark blue mohair hood, wood dash, etc, etc. Also 5 wire wheels which are vital. £52K plus on the road costs.
I now understand exactly why Adrian moved on. The new Roadster is demonstrably better in almost every way than the 2009.
I like the power steering. The gear-change is great and the lever is further back, so somehow the cockpit works better. I was surprised that I could get my foot between the clutch pedal and the transmission tunnel, all the pedals seem closer together and it made heel and toe operation much easier.
The ride was good, better than Aldermog after rear AVOs and front Suplex. The exhaust noise at moderate speeds was subdued,, indeed at 50 the car was very refined, but giving it some stick in a low gear showed the other side, a screaming banshee...
The only criticism I had was the brakes, which were dead and devoid of feel, but I have better spec pads. Also the har had run 70 miles...not even PDI'd.
Am I tempted? Of course. Am I at risk? Of course. I stroked a Spaniel. Could it happen? I doubt it, unless Paul and Henry make me an offer Caroline can't refuse.
Now If it had an Auto box it would have been "shake hands" with Paul.
