I checked my oil & the gasket stayed in the tank neck with bits flaking off. I hope non got into the tank. I did a temporary fix with gasket paper & have requested either updated gasket with plastic backer or a new cap.

GLLOQ - I think you've proven that perhaps to have a full machining facility in your M3W garage is a basic requirement for 3-wheeler ownership!
