I have been the owner of a 1969 4/4 1600 GT since 1982. My background is in forensics but I am currently among the ranks of the retired. My other interest in things British is currently swanning around over in England in concert with the BBMF Lancaster. I volunteer at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum and am one of the volunteer crew that assists in maintenance on CGVRA, the Canadian-built Lancaster bomber.

Hi Wingman

My family enjoyed seeing your hard work yesterday at the Southport Airshow

Great to see two Lancasters flying in formation

Hi Wingman, could you ask them to fly a little lower when they fly over my garden please. smile

Out of interest do they publish flight routes anywhere and how much longer are you in the UK for?

Welcome Wingman to TM what a portfolio you bring, I was lucky enough to see the 2 Lancasters flying at the Goodwood Revival last Sunday and it was a magnificent sight and sound - good work.

Enjoy your Morgan miles thumbs

I'm not actually over there, although I was in London back in June. There is a group of us who work on the aircraft when its back here in Canada. I'm on the section of the crew that is responsible for the fuselage and wings. It was not practical to send all of us on this trip. I have flown in it a number of times and it is not built for crew comfort. Having said that, one gets a real sense of history when you fly in that aircraft. In spite of the supercharger problem on the #4 engine, Vera seems to have made quite an impression. I hope to be in England next summer with some of my other buddies from the museum. We plan to visit museums that you couldn't drag your wife through. I hope to make it to Malvern Link as well.

Hi Wingman, We're you at Bronte British Car Day today? There was a nice presentation of approximately a dozen Morgans in attendance, the 2010 Aero was getting all the attention. What a great day with such a variety of British cars.

Welcome to TalkMorgan Wingman. Well done to you and all who volunteer to help keep vintage aircraft in the air. I too was lucky enough to see the two Lancs flying together at the Goodwood Revival, it was a wonderful sight, and possibly the only time I'll see it in my lifetime.
Keep up the good work.
