Welcome to the forum Wingman, myself and MintyMog, drove up to Derwent water to see the two Lancasters yesterday. We got as far as Ladybower reservoir as there was so much traffic. It was at a standstill. Took us 6 hours to get home, normally 2 hours.
Well worth the drive. The Lancasters passed over us three times is all.
FANTASTIC.
Well done you and your colleagues for keeping them flying.

Welcome to the forum Wingman. You will probably be aware that we like to see photos of your car, but in this case we will also want to see some photos of the Lancaster!

I sadly missed seeing it a couple of weeks ago flying over Morecambe Bay. A hell of an achievement flying it over to the UK. (How nice I can actually type the word UK still!)

When you get over here, I'll be only too happy to take you around the factory!

Welcome to TM Wingman. The Lancasters are such wonderful planes - all credit to you and the others for keeping them up in the air. Enjoy the Morgan community.

I didn't make it to British Car day unfortunately. I usually attend along with my son who owns a 1954 Healey 100. All those years of him growing up with a Morgan parked in our garage and it turns I had a closet Healey guy living in the house with me.

Indeed welcome Wingman, there was quite a bit of excitement on here about the two Lancs flying together I can tell you, not just car geeks.......unfortunately your's had engine trouble and missed the Shoreham air show, gutted!
But, as someone else already said, congrats to your colleagues for flying it over here, what a journey that must have been!

I have inserted an image of my 4/4 as well as a shot of the Lanc parked on the ramp outside the hangar doors at the CWH Museum.
