I have used a Ctek 5.0 for a couple of years and is connected to the car via a comfort kit fitted into an aluminium bracket behind the rear bumper. As the car is on my drive and not garaged the plastic housing that is meant to fit in a dashboard is silicone sealed and the fly lead is configured to safely break away if i forget to unclip it when driving off. It is of course fused. It takes seconds to connect after putting on a car cover and could not be easier to use. Not sure where you could fit this if you do not have bumpers though.

Banner Accugard Accumate 1.8ah conditioner (On flea bay £39.99) same manufacturer as the battery on the car its been on the Aero since I bought the car (3 years) and the battery has always been spot on. For what its worth I highly recommend the Banner battery conditioner.

I was advised to use Ctec and bought a Ctec XS 800 when we had our first 4/4 back in 2008 and it is still running fine.
It came complete with 3 changeable plug on adaptors:
for Cigarette Lighter Socket, for Battery Terminal Clip On and for permanent attachment to the Battery Terminals (considered by some to be the best set to use).
I have always used mine via the Cigarette Lighter Socket successfully.
The only issue I had here was needing to open the side contacts a little to keep a good contact with the socket.
I still use it for the Roadster 100 and it still works fine.
Regarding alternatives.
I did win an Intelligent Monitoring BFM-012-240 Battery Fighter Charger/Conditioner in one of last years MOG Magazine competitions.
I have never used it while the CTec is working well, so cannot comment on how well it works on a Morgan.
It is physically quite heavy by comparison and appears to only come with the two types of Battery Connections and no Cigarette Lighter adaptor that I can see through the cellophane packaging.
I hope this helps, Frank
