I can.....VW.   ...What I was highlighting in essence is that Mercedes styling has become less identifyable. True about the badge though. As the styling becomes less unique the badge gets bigger...have you noticed that?

I find that the design of the 928 is always actual  It was a great car, but now the services cost nearly more than the value

Friend of mine got a new E class last month and accidentally hit a pheasant the other night resulting in a cracked headlight unit. Apparently MB have quoted £950 to replace it!

Same with Audi, Jaguar etc. Today the Mercedes styling of some models is focussed too much on certain target groups. The cars lose personality and charcater. I.e. the new Mercedes S-Klasse Coupe may trigger the Russian nouveau, Saudi Arabians, German whoremasters and some young Bosses of Bodybuilding studios with migrational background.
