So I have a 'mistake' on my Morgan that the dealer offered to rectify before I took delivery ... The reversing light and fog light are as per a LHD i.e. the wrong way around for a RHD drive car. I declined the offer and told them to leave it, as I'm funny like that (I like the hand-built Friday Afternoon mistake ) I took deliver of my car on Aug 15th and have clocked up 2,200 miles and have only just noticed another mistake. My number plate has a 'K' where it should have an 'X'. No idea how I missed that! Too busy looking at the louvres ... I discovered this around 110 miles from home today - so I abused the speed cameras all the way home Private plates are going on later this week anyhoo ...

Both mistakes easily done. I've done both on the various Caterhams that I've built over the years. You will find however, that come MoT time, your car won't pass unless the fog light is either in the centre or the right hand side. Yep, I found out the hard way. The number plate error was not spotted for 2 years though. and the incorrect one was on the back

I'll switch it in three years time I seem to remember someone saying that only after a year changing a bulb on one was a pig of a job due to corrosion, so you might want to do now while new and replace the nasty screws with stainless. Just a thought.

Or you could make both fog lights and fit a centre reversing light: three lights on the valence would look cool and give symmetry to the Cyclops centre brake light!
