Hi i have a 1979 morgan 4/4 4 seater royal ivory body , brunswick green guards.. Does anyone know the original paint code for the ryal ivory.. i am having trouble matching it. thanks

Hi your best bet is to contact MMC your chassis number, they should be able to give you the code. My Plus 8 was same colour but as I found out the shade varies depending on the type of paint used. Mine was 2 pack. Yours is likely to be cellulose. Today they use acrylic.

Chipex matched my Royal Ivory exactly. They have a link with Morgan ....so if the factory cannot help and they should be able to ...try chipex

I also bought My kit from Chipex and it match perfectly. However maybe it depåns of The year of The Car. Is Royal Ivory albayt The same. I think of British Racing Green, which can differ very much.

Royal ivory paint code might well vary with age! My 2015 sport white ( which looks just like royal ivory, not really white at all. ) is M003 according to the chassis plate.

I had some BMW Mini pepper white which is assumed was the same but its not even close!

Clotted cream from Roddas is the best match i can find but it doesn't appear very durable and can't stop myself licking the Morgan!
