My Dad was a Rootes fan then too as his brother was MD of Kirbys, the Rootes dealer network in Lancashire so we had 3 Singer Gazelles, a Singer Vogue & a Hillman Hunter. I blame the Gazelle for getting me hooked on leather and walnut!
