Ok so I am bonding well with my new 4/4 and I love driving it BUT... it is too quiet !!!
I have a s/s 90 side exit exhaust which I will fit after its 1000 mile service...
Before I explore the usual suspects for new options does anybody have for sale a sports main box that gives a more sporty sound ?
Plan B what new options give a good sound ?

My new manifold definitely made my Mog louder - bigger diameter system and all stainless and no silly obstructive bends in manifold. Side exit has also made it nearer my ears so that should do .
Geneva 2016 plus 8' The Green Godess' 4 side exits .

My Librands made a great difference but not too noisy.

On my 4/4 I had a full Librands system, manifold, sports cat and exhaust and lived with it for a couple of years until I found it just too loud on long journeys. I replaced the straight through 'silencer' which is simply a stainless tube with no silencing at all with the Librands acoustic muffler and it just took the edge off enough to make longer journeys more comfortable but was still plenty loud enough for me. The 200 cell cat definitely flowed a lot more than the restrictive original.
Have to say though the straight through non silenced system sounds glorious if you can live with it.

Going to Ledgerwood Xmas bash tomorrow so will have a word with Phil.
Rutters do a straight through silencer which will fit so that will be my new option I think..not too bad at 168+vat.

Been there with my TVR......
As I often leave my place of work in my Mog at 2 in the morning, the last thing I want to do is torment my neighbours with a noisy exhaust.
That aside..... I do understand what you're saying; I've often thought that the exhaust note of my 4/4 is rather like a Ford Focus with a small leak in the silencer.
