That is terrible news and I'm sorry to hear it. I've been to 7 funerals in the last 15 months and regrettably most have been either younger or not much older than me.it does all get in perspective but it's truly tragic when so ebony is in their 30's or younger.

Andy Ditto. My father died of a heart attack at the age of 37 and at the age of 15 it changed my life. Nothing can prepare the family for such a tradegy and my heart goes out to them.

They have my condolences too. John and I have some amazing similarities in our life stories. My father died of a heart attack at the age of 43 leaving 4 children and a pregnant wife. I was just 14 and when everyone commented on how young he was I was thinking he was not so young. Now I know he really was quite young. Certainly it had a great effect on the life of the whole family.

Heartfelt thoughts for the remaining wife and siblings - this is where you come in if you are in the locale, because it is only family and relatives (and a faith if you subscribe) that will bring them through.
Heather lost her brother in the same way at 39 yoa whilst on holiday in Benin on New Years day.
Unlike him my brother died at the same age albeit 5 years earlier with Cancer - fit as a flea no smoker but sadly he left a young wife and two young sons.
These events concentrate the mind on the important things in life and the first stop is what can I do to help relieve the situation which I'm confident you will be doing.
The situation never gets better you just distance yourself from the acute pain in a very slow manner.
I had good training in loss however as my Mother walked away from the family when I was 18 months old apparently for a flight of fancy and never returned. Hers was the loss ours the gain.
