I've been away most of the last 3 months (touring mid Canada, and then crossing the Atlantic on a yacht), so getting back to the UK and getting out in the Roadster has been a joy. It started first time thanks to the trickle charger, and there have been two days this week with glorious Mog weather for no side screens blatting.
I did put the tonneau on the passenger side yesterday, and with heated seat on had to turn the heater fan down after 10 minutes as I was getting too warm. Bliss!
After many years of Caterham 7 ownership, I find driving without side screens a real pleasure. The C7 was impossible above 40mph without the side screens but the Morgan is tolerable up to 70 for short bursts, and fine for cruising up to 60.
I'm now hoping for a mild winter with sunny days when the roads are salt free, and the cow muck on the road to the house has frozen hard enough not to splash the bodywork!

Burgundymog is very elegant I must say........out for a couple of hours this morning, driving along in my Claret Mog listening to carols with Sir
Terence Wogan on the radio, felt like Santa.....or was it the weekend beard and big belly........

Down to golf club yesterday for the Pro's Xmas competition.
Trolley on the rack and clubs snug in passenger seat/well.
Golf was so-so, finishing with a good par on the last hole.
Carvery meal was yummy afterwards, then a drive home by a slightly longer route....
10 miles instead of 3 .....

Such a lovely day I got 2 hrs in whilst the Boss & kids went to watch the Hobbit part 2 or is it 3.
Great pointless drive around the Chiltern hills & then the car was washed. If the weather stays good I might even wax it!!!

If you promise to keep the wax handy John, I'll divert on the way home from Bristol tomorrow, as Henrietta hasn't been waxed for 5 weeks  . We've only got 15 popping round for Christmas, 11 of whom are coming Xmas eve and staying til 27th, so any excuse to be out for 3 hours or so is welcome !! :santahohoho: bleedin :santahohoho: Cheers
