If they are charging members for entry I'll just go for a drive around the Cotswolds instead, or find a motorsport event to attend...

I'm joking about the Aero fee! IMHO members who want to attend for the day but do not want a goody bag should NOT be charged an entrance fee! I think that it is disgusting. The cost is neither here nor there, it's the principle.
Andrew.....the options list is just that....you don't have to have them fitted if you feel them expensive but it is an expensive bespoke car so perhaps the prices reflect that....and look at the cost of options of other cars such as Jaguar...if indeed they would be willing to offer such a range.

I agree with you Graham ... a drive round the wolds would be preferable maybe with with a few other like minded TM Moggers... take in some views and stop for lunch etc etc. + the fact is I don't knit

At risk of causing offence.......
but I wish to remind those happy to dismiss the Llangollen MOG2015 event and any cost of entry that the MSCC centre Devmog are doing this as volunteers. The hiring of the site normally used for Eisteddfords costs money, as does the public liability insurance, as do many other things.
Go out and enjoy it! You run Morgans for God's sake, lash out cash for Suplex and loads of extras. A contribution for entry isn't a big ask!

Err, well actually I don't lash out for Suplex or loads of extras. The car has to be run very much on a budget. As does the Land Rover. Even marshalling motor sport events is kept mostly local due to the costs of travelling longer distances...

I am used to talking directly and receiving the same. You would seem to have completely got hold of the wrong end of the stick hear (Its called a leg pull) Ive no doubt a lot of time and expense and the effort of a lot of people go into Llangollen. So good luck to you and the rest of you for this event ... but I'm sorry I just can't knit
