Found my old motorbike jacket in the loft, took out the armour, and went out in the Morgan. Down some onetrack roads from Oaksey to Kemble through puddles as wide as the car and almost as deep. Then to Malmsebury and back roads to Purton where I bottomed out at speed - oh dear. Carried on, seems OK. I will have to take the trouble to learn where the heater controls are!

Bottoming out is likely to be the gearbox crossmember.

Just been out to Woodstock and back...about 90 miles in all.

Lovely and dry...plus the Keiss heated vest..lovely and warm!

Had lunch at the Star...recommended.

So swearwas happy too!!

The "new" air scoop and KnN filter seemed to make a noticeable difference ...so well pleased all round!

Almost certainly is. My 97 +4 was always doing that

60 miles or so around the Cotswolds, lovely crisp day and roads pretty clean after all the rain. Then a good wash, for the car not me, to remove the grime from last weekends drive to Bicester.

Lunch at Loch Fyne with friend.
Great way to spend Sunday.

Lucky man. 5 hours gardening with petrol driven tools to cut back the undergrowth.
Also serviced the mower.
Stopped at 15:00 for what I thought would be a run in the Mog & it pissed it down.

Still a nice crisp day to be outside

Thanks for the photo.

The problem for me is at the point where the the hinge needs some space to clear the seal. Is the factory fitted foam continuous across the front of the air box?

I also see that the flanges on your bonnets have been cut away at that point. Did you do that or was it done at the factory?

Earlier airboxes had a double intakes, one either side of the hinge, and under the louvres, that were sealed with a D section rubber profile. It seems to me a better solution than the current system.

Peter, the factory foam isn't continuous, there's a huge gap to fill. The flanges were cut at the factory.
