Out today to go and look at a BMW i3. Interesting, but I don't think it is for us. It looks "odd", it is very expensive and I wasn't impressed with the fit and finish of some of the trim.

Is that the one with the suicide doors at the rear? Saw one in the Sofitel lobby at LHR recently. I liked the shape but could see little else.

It is what we term a shield day here today. Bright blue sky, very bright light with a nip in the air but warm in the sun so I have been on an errand which turned into a 50 mile round trip - you know what I mean , any way if any one fancies a cup of coffee it's only about 900 miles.

Yes, it is.
I sort of like it and I may even drive it, but I can't get my head round the price. After £5K grant from HMG it is, £38,500!

About the same as a night at the Sofitel in T5 then
- oh and as a BMW driver you get to park near the lifts. Not sure what that says

I just had to take the Morgan out for a little tour trough the black forest with blue sky and fresh snow.
I should seriously consider buying winter tyres. Any recomendations beside those we have seen here with spikes?

Nexen did some cost effective ones a couple of years ago that were recommended by a friend of mine who swapped every Winter
I've never tried them and don't know much about Winter tyres but I've heard they make a massive difference on rear wheel drive cars

Stewart, did a quick internet search and in seems as if the Nexen is the only available tyre in my size: 205/65/15. Is that possible?
