I think they do need donor parts, but may be able to source them. Their website will give details.

I rather like them too , I seem to remember someone on here saying they had one , no doubt they'll be along shortly ! The owner of the SS100 discussed it in this thread.

Saw one of these parked up at Start Point when I did likewise about a year ago for a walk down to the Lighthouse etc.
Lovely shape and finish but very fibreglass finish about it. I ran an SE5a Scimitar and thoroughly enjoyed it but the fibreglass finish always annoyed me. My mates always called it the plastic pig quite rightly Loti leave me feeling much the same way work in progress - now what could that remind me of...

In the 1950s my grandfather had a real SS100, he sold it and went through a few cars (including at some point a DB Aston) before getting the Mog in 1959.
At times I wish he had held onto the SS100 instead of the +4. I do have a a few pictures of the old SS, pretty cool looking car. Not to mention worth heaps more than a +4.

I took one in PX a couple of years ago.....I was very excited.
Drove like a shed.....wobbling all over the show.
Might not be the case with all but this one was very disappointing

Very much so! And the presenter pointedly said that Alvis set out to keep the driving experience the same as the originals thank goodness! I noted previous comments about the poor handling of the Suffolk SS...surely that's to be expected compared to,a modern car.
