Col de Buttertubs
Thought we would take the new +4 for a run up the "Tubs".
To the unknown this climb became famous last year on the first day of the Tour de France in North Yorkshire.
The forecast was for sun!

Nice drive! I often get up there when staying at my sisters......usually on a motorbike.

Coincidentally enough, I was up there this time last week, in a borrowed 4x4 Volvo estate & it was fabbo on both counts! Called in at Altberg up in Richmond for a new pair of booties.. Nice photo.

Drove it the week before the T de F last year. Weather was occasional drizzle. Was on way home from the Highlands, heading for Bro-in-Law via Wensleydale Creamery... Trying to persuade  we need another week in the area... Last time was Christmas week a few years ago and she ended up with 'flu, so didn't see a lot...
