Why not one of these flow meter , won't the fuel used vary track to track and depend on practice or race and conditions, with this you could see real time. Unless your weight is an issue, the car I mean. grin2

Yes the fuel usage will alter from track to track. This is the best way to monitor it for this reason

Yes I appreciate that but, would not a real time readout sent to the pits from a mass flow meter, (they can be very accurate), as per F1 etc, give you better feedback and save time and effort? Just a thought. As for weight I know its accumulative and every bit saved counts, but in this case the benefit might actually out weigh the increase.

I think my way will work for the time being. I think using F1 tech may be going to far lol

I think Lawrie and co are trying to frighten the competition off from actually taking part....

I now hear that Williams will be using M-Sport technology on their engine. Now to me that means they will be running the BMW 4.4 litre block but with a "Sigma" badge to fool the scrutineers. Should work I reckon and the 4/4 Sport should fly with that !!

laugh2

Ah, but they do real time, with pit wall data feed, so in theory you could tell Henry what he was doing right and wrong when driving, and see how elements of the car were performing and if it was nearing limits, much like F1, as I said spend I think you might need a team manager to stop fights breaking out, I'm quite skilled in management if your looking. grin2

Unfortunately we are not allowed pit to car radio systems, so that system would not benefit us.
I down load the data after each session and we talk about it then smile
