Just had a phone call from Allon Whites to tell me they couldn't get the M3W I had arranged to hire for a couple of days and use to explore Suffolk ( it was a present from Father Christmas)  Never mind I'll just have to take my lovely 4/4 instead, he was looking a little jealous .... Isn't retirement great!  Andy

End of a 13 hr day here in Italy. Looking forward to retiring assuming the politicians don't move the goal posts again!!!

I didn't realise you worked part time John  I remember but do not miss the 50 to 60 hour weeks and the travel - not as much as travel as you do I hasten to add. When you get to retirement you will love it End of a 13 hr day here in Italy. Looking forward to retiring assuming the politicians don't move the goal posts again!!!

Now Suffolk in a Mog love the county plenty of B roads I have been trying to retire for 3 years but keep being asked back now a part timer so gives me some time to play! If you are near Bury ST Ed's try Krazy Horse as they are bikers as well as Morgan dealers they will definitely have a M3W for you Andy great new showroom with all day brekkie as well!

If you are near Bury ST Ed's try Krazy Horse as they are bikers as well as Morgan dealers they will definitely have a M3W for you Andy great new showroom with all day brekkie as well! Shhhh! Foretunately I have pensions kicking in at 60 & then one more at 65. Plus thanks to that expletive deleted G Brown who killed final salary schemes by taxing dividends a bunch of defined contribution funds. The DC funds now not needing to be an annuity then 60 it is.

What it is to be in demand.. I've been told that retirement is not an option...(not sure that is legal, indentured servitude has, I thought, been abolished) Anyway I'm 63 in 34 days and have just got my employer to agree that I'll go on 75% time from the beginning of 2016 and can drop to 50% "later", whatever that means. I have to say that the money is nice. I also enjoy my job. So if I play it right then retirement at about 67 should be "very comfortable" and my retirement gift to me will be an M3W.
