Looking around for sticky summer road tyres any suggestions as they don't make the original Avons.

The replacement Avons ZZ5 I think are on my car and definitely a good deal grippier than the originals, plus rather quiet in operation. Can chuck the rear end around with a good deal more abandon and they hang on well, and front end grip was never a problem anyway.
Would rather have Toyos or Yokos but generally very happy with the new Avons.

Watch out for the Toyo T1R's, there was a spec change in Mid September 2014 according to the MG owners club and they recommend only buying four of those all with posr or pre 0914 date codes as they do not mix well before and after.

Thank you all for the recommends I will either go for the Avon ZZ5's or the Toyos. Now its hunt to best deal but Demon Tweeks looks good
