Ordered mine on Wednesday evening from Wordary and it arrived today, I shall get stuck into it over the weekend but upon initial perusal looks great. Well done Peter.

No, honestly, your sense of humour, insights and collation of interesting facts makes it a great read!

Hey, come on, surely somebody thinks it's rubbish? Well come to mention it! You did attribute a photo to me that Richard Gilbert took! But I'll let you off that.......you've done a great job!

Well there is a typo on page 54. "It could problem cope with an increase in engine power"

Damn and blast! Sorry about that. The first time I opened my advance copy, the caption on page 98 made me swear. The road on which my 3 Wheeler expired, as a result of the S&S crankshaft bolt problem, was the old RN7, not the old RN75 as stated. That was a funny psychological link. The old RN75 was the road I used to take to Geneva, after using the Route Napoleon (the old RN85) for some distance. You check things a dozen times, your publisher's people check them, yet still the odd error gets through. Not too many in this instance, I hope.

Well I had a couple of hours out this morning, photographing a vintage motorcycle trial and came home to (a) Peter's book that had been delivered and (b) a flooding lounge due to a burst pipe under the bath above..
Only now am I sitting with a glass and poring through the pages. I can only concur what everyone else has already said, it is a really good book!
Even my steering wheel makes an appearance..!!
Well done, Peter. And thank you, too. A very important milestone in what I hope will be a very long M3W history.

Just bought my copy via eBay for 23 GBP. Read it cover to cover in 24 hours. Like your style, young Dron, you could make a living out of that. Fascinating story. I was surprised to learn that the new Mog3W was not Charles' idea, you tell us he was agin it from the start, only changing his mind when he drove one.

Well done Peter!
A great book and a definite "must have" for anyone owning (or thinking of buying), an M3W. Your humour and writing style is certainly in keeping with the general ethos of the car. At last a subjective work that details the good and bad points of the car.
Having said that, if the book had been ready two and a half years ago, and I had read it before I spent £32k+ on my M3W, I may have thought twice before spending that sort of money on a car that was so under developed. I am sure there are many people who feel they have been conned by the MMC after buying the early M3W's in ignorance of the impending problems.
