Agreed, they would be a tight fit but spacers or mounting hole elongation could cure that without too much difficulty. Just a case of would it all be worth it?

Higher unsprung weight would be my first thoughts. Maybe a bit too much bounce felt at the wheel?
There is a school of thought that goes along the lines of imagining handling is a circle, in that whichever aspect is changed, it needs something else changing to keep the circle. All that ultimately happens is that the circle gets a larger diameter.
Personally speaking, I'm happy with the handling. I don't feel a pressing need to get around any corner a little quicker as I can scare myself quite well at the speed I drive at now!!

I run 30psi on my front Avons and understeer isn't really an issue anymore. 25 psi on the rear, which I am due to replace with another Yokohama Bluearth, as recommended by Mark Reeves....who is one person that should be in the know

I replace the Yokohama tire by a second yoko, and following a puncture I wanted to test another brand toyo cf2 without satisfaction, the two grooves of the tire tend to follow the longitudinal grooves of some road coverings, I will back again very soon a yoko.
