Was hoping to be in a helicopter above the clouds at the right moment. Instead was sitting watching the fog through an oil rig window. Did get slightly darker for a couple of minutes but was probably just the fog getting thicker. Roll on 2026 and another try.

Crystal clear blue sky in south Wales, untill the eclipse came along and spoiled it. Went very cold for a time.PS Used ark welding helmet to view.

Was mostly cloud however got good views in reflection of eclipse in shed window.

Does switching the lights off and closing my eyes count or is that cheating.

Where is my mother inlaw I have seen this photo before she in normally has a pointed hat on and astride her broomstick just flying over it with her black cat . At 0925 in South Devon. As you can see it was a now you see it now you don't game.

Nice photo. Unfortunately no such view here - quite thick cloud but briefly it went a little more grey. So went back into the garage
