You can buy a sealant for the exhaust wrap that will leave it a charcoal colour if you prefer.
Beware sports exhausts, I needed ear plugs, helmet and pills!

Time for some more pictures  New Cam belt fitted. An oil seal had a very slight leak and had contaminated the belt. Luckily the upgrade kit comes with new seals , and a warranty covered belt and its sorted.   I am very impressed with the level of care and detail that is going into this upgrade , streets above a 'bolt on and away you go' job. My hat is fully off to Oakmere Morgan for this.  On taking the covers off , the guys found a slight crack in one of the rockers , so it gets replaced  Back together  First view of exhausts - I like it !  Tommorow - the ECU More to follow

That cracked rocker was a lucky find.. If you weren't having the upgrades, that would have gone unmissed until too late!

Same with the leaky oil seal , and cracked cat. Full marks to Oakmere on doing a detailed and exhaustive examination of parts at each stage of the upgrade. It feels like its having a full checkover at the same time. Brilliant service and highly recommended. I have to include a big plug for Mike Barber of Oakmere who has taken all these pictures and kept me in the loop through the whole procedure.  Are you listening Jonathan ? ( Mikeys boss ).
