Hi Piloto Bit of a tale. Mine started life Saddle Brown, but I have never been happy with it - too bright and uniform. What I was after was more 'old leather chair in a gentlemans club' , a bit battered with some patina. So I have been messing with water based leather dyes for some time now, gradually going a shade darker and darker each time. If I dont like it in the long run I can always remove it back to the original - did that once early as I made a mess of applying part of it. Still got all the gearbox area to do - a long term project ! I remove all the leatherwork from the car when doing it , so its an excuse to top up the bevel box etc at the same time  It takes a while to do to get it how you want it, but is good fun !?!

I saw it for the first time last year and again this year and I really like the effect you've got on the leather You have certainly achieved the 'antique' look very well I did notice it had gone bit darker from last year

If you want it especially antiqued, I'll get Stringer to use it for a few days. We have a chair that started out looking very smart..looks decidedly worn now..!!  You're a very lucky man to have this level of attention from your guru.. Keep it up!

Courtesy of Mikey@Oakmere , a couple of shots of the new exhausts. I have just shelled out for a GoPro , so when I get it back I hope to be putting up some video with sound  Note : heat shields are a thing of the past

Note : heat shields are a thing of the past I am pretty sure burned calves will be the thing of the future...

Did you choose to delete the heat shields, or was it because there are none available for the exhaust, or the ones that are available don't fit properly...??
Looks good but you may find passengers getting burnt legs and even hands... (I quite like using the heat shields as hand warmers in winter!)

At this stage I have just noticed the fixings on the new exhausts to screw the heatshields to are not present. At the appropriate time I will mention them not being there and report back. When its cold I quite like driving with one hand on the heatshield as well , but I do find them a pain to keep looking tidy. On balance I will not miss them.
