I went with the Dunlop on the 4/4 and the Plus 8. In my opinion it's the best choice if you don't use it on track days. Before there were the Yokohama on the 4/4 Lemans ( really not comfortable for street use). Anyhow every modern tyre will be good. Esp. in the rain.

From what you TM-ers say I'm leaning towards the Dunlop which, as well as published stats being good, seem to be the choice most cited.

I'm not likely to take part in track days (old age) but I do want to stick to the road in most conditions. I usually take the car to France several times each year, so I sometimes have to drive a good few miles without waiting for perfect weather.
