Good idea, or not?

Last summer I participated in an MSCC regional centre run to Colditz in eastern Germany. En route we stopped for a night at the Moehne Dam. So when I saw this item for sale it was a “must-have”. The un-verified story goes that it came off the dashboard of a 1937 MG TA used be an RAF officer to tour North Rhine-Westphalia immediately post-war. It is 2” in diameter and my intention was to affix it to the dashboard of Baby Blue. But I’ve paused in that intent because it occurs to me that when the day comes to sell the car, as it surely will, will the presence of the medallion add or detract to the appeal? Will it represent an attractive curiosity that says a little something about the travel history of my car, or will it put off a potential buyer who has no affinity or interest in Moehnesee – and, worse, taking it off will reveal two screw holes in the dashboard? What do you think?

If you go I can heartily recommend the Hotel Delecke here on beautiful grassed and wooded banks of the lake. A 10 minute walk to the Sperrmauer; you're right - Barrier (Dam) Wall.

Cant mention Guy's dog by name anymore. not PC.

Mine was female and called Megan....so quite PC. I did have someone tell me off for having the name "Nero" on the bonnets of my black Roadster! I looked at him rather strangely!!
