Thanks so much for all your replies - what a welcome! I am struggling to work out how to attach picture so i will keep working on that. Quick question can you tell me what type of grease gun i should buy - i have got the kit put in for the king pin but not done this before.

IMHO there's only one type of grease gun worth buying, the Swiss Wanner. Not cheap at nearly 80 quid, but it will do the job perfectly for years without breaking or leaking. I've fitted a flexible hose onto mine, it's not really necessary but I put it on one day to try out and have never found a reason to remove it. https://www.cromwell.co.uk/CTL5404512N

I agree with Tim. I keep mine in the garage and carry a miniature grease gun in the 4/4 for use (if required) when we are touring. I bought the miniature one through Amazon. ps Welcome to TM
