Peter,
That must have been a dilema, the attractive Texan nurses v. the spectacular Animas Valley - what to look at first! Love to see pictures, especially from the 70's and '73 was just four years after the D&RGW wound it down. So early D&S days under Charlie Bradshaw. Please post!
I've posted a few in the general gallery just to show what this place is like. I'll have to look out the slides and scan them!

the 4/4 4 seater is under rated. All the fun of a two seater and more practical!
plus they look great. Good choice +1 - with the option of becoming a ute downunder too
