A single seater Morgan would be an excellent showcase for the Marque, but frankly I don't think it'll make it to the production!
Regarding 3 wheeler, with stringent european legislation, I doubt the 3 wheeler would pass the crash test without MMC spending vast amount of resources, but I could be talking through my backside confused2
Do you have any sketches to show us?
Have you visited the factory before?

we don't have to really worry to much about legislation and crash tesing and all the serious stuff too much. and the concepts we design will never make it to production but we want something that will get us good marks and look good in our portfolio but more importantly something that will impress them.

i dont currently have any sketches to show you guys but i will very soon. will keep you all posted

going to the factory is dangerous in that respect! Look forward to seeing some of the drawings.

The 4 seater project sounds interesting, oddly getting a balance is going to be difficult, to be a back seat passenger can be a blast, I would not want a car that is too cold for the children, you will find the more you keep the height down the longer the car has to be.

Morgans are quite well balanced, the load is inside the wheelbase and this allows crisp handling with a wide track and fat tyres the car is good in corners, Morgans are never going to be as quick as aerodynamic boxes so the car has to offer something else, handling !

oddly the more upright car will probably handle better, as it would be shorter.

The 4 seater could be quite different if you wished, I actually have a fondness for a drop head coupe - snobmog style, this could be very civilised, it would be very nice with a straight six petrol as these offer the best engine balance a reinterpretation of this more elegant age of motoring would be nice, that said it's your project and good luck.

hey guys. sorry theres been no development work or anything to show you but have been very busy. we've nearly finished the project now though, and are going to present our concepts to the designers and charles morgan himself i think soon, will post the work up for you after that, to say thanks for your input.
i can tell though that in the end we (my team mate and i) designed a two seat roofless sports model, and i think it looks damn fine, but i would say that :P

hey guys, still havnt presented and i have a feeling we're not gonna, as i think they did the same thing to last years group or summat.
so i thought i'd show you a 'teaser' image of the car, and give them another week or 2 until i show off the final design in full.

enjoy, and thanks for your help from before
