I always think 2 tone cars look superb!
Sounds like the engine is starting to loosen up nicely.
May you have many happy miles kilometres together! smile

Lovely car Ralph, congratulations.

Graham, I saw a really nice two tone car being prepared for delivery at Borghi's the other day. It was, I think, Royal Ivory and the wings were a dark Burgundy. It really looked good.

I have always admired two tone cars but somehow I don't think they are for me, I have no idea why.

Thank you very much for the kind wishes.
Spent yesterday and today exploring the country lanes around here. 655 km on the odometer so far. Found a beatiful course with 7 km winding roads at 70km/h, followed by a stright line of 1,5 km where 100 km/h is allowed. Best combination for the 4/4, drove it two times ;-)
When i paused for a cuppa and a short cigar, the waitress asked me if she may take a foto of the car. An elder man asked when the car was built and could not believe that it was brand new. Got many smiles and waves when i passed by. But the best is the hillarious acceleration between 50 to 100 km/h: Feels fantastic, and let people standing there staring with mouth open ;-)
I love that car!

Congratulations Ralf on your purchase and enjoy every time you take it out. A bit of a pain about the ticket tho.
On a recent road trip I had one of my turning signal bulbs fail in Auckland. (first malfunction in my 3 year old mog) so I turned into a mall car park to find a replacement bulb. As I parked a traffic police car drew up alongside and we both got out I racking my brains for all the misdemeanours that I had done recently. The Officer spoke and said he had to follow me in because his grandmother had owned a Morgan and he just wanted to talk Morgan.......whew. He was the owner of a Harley and about to join a rally of 2000 Harley's on a road trip from Auckland to Queenstown our home town, a trip of 2000k +.
Enjoy your car.

Congrats Ralf, have fun. Sorry about the speeding ticket, if it's factually wrong surely you can send it back as it's inaccurate.
